PADI Night Diver Speciality
Start night dives with this course!

Night diving is something that will introduce you to a whole new world. Many experienced divers, when they dive at night for the first time, say that it is something completely different from what they have experienced so far. And there is a lot of truth in that, because night diving is real magic. That is why it is worthwhile to take the PADI Night Diver course.

You may not have thought that night diving is at all possible. However, keep in mind that many animals are only active at night and you have to be underwater after dusk to see them. This is why night diving is so different from diving during the day. The PADI Night Diver specialty will allow you to perform night dives in a safe and practical manner.

Why take the PADI Night Diver course with Costa Rica Divers?

Night diving is not something that is mandatory. As the name says, it is a specialized course, so one where you will gain skills beyond the open water course and even advanced skills. That’s why it’s a good idea to do a PADI Night Diver course with an instructor who has a lot of experience in this field, and you can find them at Costa Rica Divers.

We are a PADI accredited dive center and we are authorized to organize specialized courses. We do not care about “producing” certificates, so you can be sure that your course will be at a high level. Contact us and speak directly with an instructor to address any concerns.

But why is our diving course different from other diving schools?

First of all – our price is complete, including all materials, dives, equipment rental for the duration of the course, e-learning package, PADI license fees – in a word everything you need to complete the course. It is worth noting that as the only PADI accredited dive center in the area we have our own training pool and fully equipped dive center.

PADI Specialization Details

Night diving requires an expanded skill set and that is what you will learn in this course. It is very important to plan your dive, prepare proper equipment and procedures in case of problems or loss of team members. You will use diving flashlights and a backup light source, as well as learn to signal in a slightly different way than you do during the day.

We conduct our PADI Night Diver course in Costa Rica in accordance with all safety and training standards. The course will begin with a theory class where you will learn new information about the physics of diving and potential hazards. We will then do 3 training dives where you will plan and conduct night dives.

One very important skill that you will practice during your night diving course is underwater navigation. Sure you know how to use a compass and natural navigation, but believe me everything looks different at night. That is why underwater navigation is so important.
