The course PADI DSD Leader has no specified duration because it depends on previous experience, skill level and training schedule. Candidates must complete four (4) separate sessions of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program. It is important to remember that only real students can be used in these sessions – simulated training does not count towards the training. Furthermore, each session must be conducted under the direct supervision of a PADI instructor. For this reason, the duration of this course depends on your commitment, the season and the number of customers we currently have for DSD. If you are already confident in guiding beginner divers, you can complete the course faster. Let us know your schedule and we will help you plan your training!
You are not required to bring your own diving gear for the PADI DSD Leader course. However, if you prefer to use your own personal equipment, you are welcome to bring it along. Just make sure it is in good condition and properly maintained. It’s important to remember that as a professional diver, you should have your own personal scuba gear for your long-term career in the diving industry.
